Boarding has been an integral and dynamic part of the School鈥檚 landscape since it opened in 1869. Boarders are in the perfect position and have ample opportunity to access the vast array of experiences the School has to offer. As Harlin House is located听at the heart of the campus, the boarders have, on their doorstep, extensive playing fields, the Indoor Sports Centre听and the Music Centre, and need only walk about 50m to听The Lilley Centre听for prep which houses听the Senior Library which the boarders have access to during weeknights.

This stimulating boarding environment is comprised of young men from rural and regional communities, provincial cities and overseas locations.听A warm and nurturing community,听the boys听undoubtedly form听strong bonds and valued friendships that continue long after school, often lasting a lifetime. Our house tutors are all graduate staff, the majority of them teachers, who focus on supporting the boys through the many personal and academic challenges that are a part of life.

Our expansive Student Wellbeing Program supports and develops our students' emotional resilience and intelligence. A Student Wellbeing Coordinator oversees the implementation of these programs from Years 5 to 12. Our programs assist boys to make sense of their world and their connections to it.听
